May Sweeps is over, pools are opening, grills are firing up, and beach trips are being planned. It's Sexy Saturday here at TV Fanatic and we're set for summer with these sexy TV characters who are sporting their swimwear.

As the temperatures continue to rise, what better way to cool off than slipping on your favorite swimsuit and hitting the water? That's what these TV characters chose to do! Some are hitting the waves with their surfboards, some prefer the pool to the ocean, and others prefer to stay dry and are satisfied just soaking up the sun.

Regardless of your preference, check out our slideshow of sexy men and women donning swimwear and then head outside to enjoy the surf, sun, and sand for yourselves!

1. Olivia Pope - Scandal

Olivia
It's hard to blame Olivia for leaving it all behind to hide out on an island with Jake. Who wouldn't want to trade in their home and job for the sun and sand, especially when there are regular deliveries of wine?

2. Kate Beckett - Castle

Beckett
When Castle and Beckett head to Los Angeles for a case, Kate uses her power of seduction and a sexy one-piece to get her man, not to mention her partner's attention.

3. Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams - Hawaii Five-O

Hawaii 5 0
The men (and woman) of Hawaii Five-0 are always attractive, but watching Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams surfing on the Hawaii shore will make you long for summer, sun, and some sexy, sexy gentlemen!

4. The Cast of Baywatch

The cast of baywatch
While lifeguarding has always been a hot profession, the slow motion shots and sexy, impractical swimsuits launched a million fantasies and turned stars Pamela Anderson and Yasmine Bleeth into bonafide sex symbols.

5. Nikita Mears - Nikita

Nikita mears
Nikita knows how to use her sexiness to her advantage when it comes to taking down her enemy. That bathing suit certainly doesn't seem to have any effect on her kick ass fighting skills!

6. Derek Morgan and Elle Greenaway - Criminal Minds

Derek morgan and elle greenaway
The members of the Behavior Analysis Unit don't get much time for R&R, but when those rare times occur, they relax in style! Unfortunately for Derek and Elle, this vacation was cut short by a case, but at least they managed to squeeze some sun in first!

17 Devious Home Wreckers: So Bad, They're Good!

$

0

Home wreckers have been around on TV for as long as drama series have.

They come in various different forms and they all have a common goal: they want to the attention of their victims all for themselves.

How do the stakes change when the family of their conquest is revealed? It doesn't. it just makes them even more irresistible to the home wrecker.

Have a look through the gallery we have compiled of some of the most memorable home wreckers on TV.

1. Rafael Solano - Jane The Virgin

Rafael solano jane the virgin
Rafael sprung into action to secure the love of Jane The Virgin, his baby mama. Yes, Jane was artificially inseminated and was engaged to some other guy. I think it's fair to say there was A LOT of back and forth.

2. Edie Britt - Desperate Housewives

Edie britt desperate housewives
Edie was the definition of Desperate Housewife. Every time a new guy moved into the neighborhood, Edie would embed her claws into him and pull him her way. Married? That doesn't faze her. Just look at poor Susan Meyer who had her husband stolen from her.

3. Lydia Davis - Revenge

Lydia davis revenge
Lydia Davis was an opportunist. I don't believe she had feelings for Conrad Grayson. She wanted to replace his wife Victoria Grayson and reign over the Hamptons and get into the Grayson Global gravy train.

4. Ben Crawford - Secrets & Lies

Ben crawford secrets and lies
Ben had a wonderful family, but it never stopped him from having some steamy encounters with his neighbor, Jess. Let's just say that as much as he would like his wife to believe, it happened more than once and it was HOT.

5. Joss - Mistresses

Joss mistresses
How would you feel if a sibling got down and dirty with your significant other? Yes, Joss went there and things got steamy, but Savi won't be anywhere near when the show returns. Her home is most certainly wrecked.

6. Olivia Pope - Scandal

Olivia pope scandal
Olivia Pope had many sordid encounters with the president of the USA. Fitz also happened to be married, so that was yet another home wrecked. These two have such a tumultous relationship that I wouldn't be surprised if they just quit.

11 Deliciously Dark Characters: What Are They Hiding?

$

Sexy characters with dark secrets are pretty much the norm on TV these days.

For every Emily Thorne, there is a Nancy Botwin.  Some of these characters are not necessarily evil, they just need to go beyond the law to get stuff done and we can't blame them.

Then there's the ones like Dexter Morgan, who are royally breaking the law, but feel like they are doing the public a service for ridding civilization of the vile people who inhabit it.

Yes, these secrets come in a variety of of different forms, but they really make for some first class television and the TV landscape wouldn't be the same without them.

Have a look through our picture gallery of these hotties with dark secrets.

1. Rose - Jane The Virgin

Rose jane the virgin
We knew Sin Rostro was one evil individual, but the reveal that Rafael's step-mother, who was sleeping with his father aswell as his sister was one of the most shocking of the season. Who'd have guessed this HOT redhead could be so cruel?

2. Emily Thorne/Amanda Clarke - Revenge

Emily thorne slash amanda clarke revenge
Her revenge plot may be over, but Amanda Clarke posed as Emily Thorne in the Hamptons for four seasons in order to make the Grayson's pay for the hell they put her family through. In the process she had MANY steamy encounters with people from the town.

3. Barbie - Under The Dome

Barbie under the dome
He may have been quick to get between Julia's sheets, but just before the dome came down, he killed her husband. I think this is one of the more twisted on the list.

4. Marisol - Devious Maids

Marisol devious maids
Marisol posed as a maid in order to find out the truth about a murder that found her son in the frame. She proved that she was good at her job and even made some life long friends. She now lives in a massive house and has published a novel. Who says maids can't go up in the world?

5. Liza - Younger

Liza younger
We can't deny that Sutton Foster looks HOT as her character Liza in TV Land's Younger. Her character is actually in her forties and is posing as a 26 year old in order to get a job and kickstart her life after her divorce.

6. Dan - Gossip Girl

Dan gossip girl
Who'd have guessed that after getting down and dirty with the high class socialites of The Upper East Side, that we'd find out it was Dan who was the elusive blogger? Not us. It didn't make much sense, but in the end, he got his Queen. Better late than never, right?

21 Romances That Were Over Before They Began

Grab your tissues and a box of chocolates, shippers, because this slideshow is about to put you on your knees yelling "Whyyyy?!?!"

Yes, it's a sad fact, but TV isn't always perfect, and some storylines don't exactly end up where you think they will. It's especially painful when those storylines turn out to be romantic ones. Maybe someone dies, or an actor leaves for greener pastures. Maybe the show even gets canceled too soon!

Whatever it is, there are a host of couples that just never really got their time in the sun thanks to unforeseen circumstances. And it's a damn shame, too.

Take a look at our top 21 Romances That Were Over Before They Began and brace yourself to feel that crushing disappointment all over again.

1. Klaus & Caroline (The Vampire Diaries)

Klaus and caroline the vampire diaries
We can practically hear the agonized wailing of Klaroline fans already. This couple was to die for, but before they could take the leap, our favorite Original was off to New Orleans for his spinoff, while Caroline stayed put in Mystic Falls. As far as couples who never got their shot, Klaroline is a particularly brutal case.

2. Jaime & Brienne (Game of Thrones)

Jaime and brienne game of thrones
After a full season of watching Jaime and Brienne travel around Westeros together, fans fell in love with this topsy turvy beauty and the beast dynamic. Sadly, romance just wasn't in the cards for these two, and they've been on separate paths for over a year now. A tragic case of bad timing if there ever was one.

3. Daryl & Beth (The Walking Dead)

Daryl and beth the walking dead
Speaking of tragic, who else is STILL not over Beth Greene's death? There were only a few hints of romance between Daryl and Beth here and there, but that's all the internet needs to be sent into a full on shipping panic. Fans barely had time to get excited about Bethyl before Beth was mercilessly killed off in the Season 5 winter finale.

4. Neal & Emma (Once Upon a Time)

Neal and emma once upon a time
Poor Neal. He and Emma seemed so happy together in their younger years, but magic (and a really confusing bodyswap subplot) conspired against them in the end. Maybe they never would have reconciled – she had a very dashing pirate waiting in the wings after all – but now we'll never know!

5. Isaac & Allison (Teen Wolf)

Isaac and allison teen wolf
Here we have another couple that lost their chance thanks to an untimely death. Isaac and Allison were just getting started on their little journey towards romance, when Allison took a katana to the stomach and went gently into that good night. We lost a fan favorite character and a fan favorite couple in one blow. The struggle is real.

6. Oliver & Laurel (Arrow)

Oliver and laurel arrow
Remember way back in Arrow Season 1, when Oliver and Laurel were still trying to work things out? Us neither! Laurel might be his one and only in the Green Arrow comic books, but Oliver's feelings for his leading lady didn't last very long before this couple was over and done with.

17 Unforgettable Fictional Schools We Wish We Could Attend

Whether your high school years were the best time of your life or the worst, there's no denying that these fictional TV high schools have a lot to offer.

Some have the coolest teachers around, some tend to burst into song, and some are full of supernatural happenings (vampires, anyone?). Check out some of our favorites below.

1. Beacon Hills High School (Teen Wolf)

Beacon hills high school teen wolf
Not exactly safe, what with the werewolves and mysterious deaths and all, Beacon Hills High School was built on top of the Hale Family Vault. It's where the characters we've come to know and love from Teen Wolf spend most of their time, and it definitely makes the unforgettable list.

2. Anchor Beach Community Charter (The Fosters)

Anchor beach community charter the fosters
The Fosters' Anchor Beach Community Charter is pretty much just as awesome as it sounds. It's just a good, positive place to be. Plus, location, location, location! It's right on the beach, and there's a beautiful view. We totally wish we could have gone here.

3. Bayside High (Saved by the Bell)

Bayside high saved by the bell
Here's a classic for you. Whether it was teacher swap day, cut day, or random dance competitions, Bayside High was always the place to be. And let's not forget the proximity to the beach and hanging out at The Max. Actually, we'd be happy to hang out anywhere with this gang.

4. Sunnydale High School (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

Sunnydale high school buffy the vampire slayer
I know what you're thinking. Maybe you don't wish you had gone to school on top of a hellmouth. I don't either, but talk about a unique high school experience. Oh, and that school spirit? Everyone bands together on graduation day to defeat a big bad. That's something to be pretty proud of. Plus, there's Giles!

5. Rosewood High School (Pretty Little Liars)

Rosewood high school pretty little liars
There's a heck of a lot more going on at Pretty Little Liars' Rosewood High School than your typical teenage drama and difficult classes. You know if you had gone here, you'd have even more interesting stories to tell about your high school days.

6. Mystic Falls High School (The Vampire Diaries)

Mystic falls high school the vampire diaries
Let's be honest. This is another high school we wouldn't have enjoyed attending in terms of safety (there are vampires lurking, after all), but The Vampire Diaries' Mystic Falls High School is still way cooler than our high schools were.

17 TV Shows We Miss More and More Everyday

Losing a favorite TV show can cut to the quick. We're not going to pretend it doesn't.

But there is still light at the end of the tunnel. Some of your favorite stars from these beloved, but dearly departed series are on the scene this season in other productions including Nashville, Blood and Oil, American Horror Story, The Bastard Executioner, and the upcoming Wicked City.

Or...you might just have to go to your local cinemaplex, because these shows were so good they propelled some of the stars right onto the big screen.

Scroll through our photo gallery and take a wonderful walk down memory lane. These shows are gone, but they're not forgotten!

1. Gossip Girl

Gossip girl
Gossip Girl helped us escape from our everyday lives and into the lives of the filthy rich. With all the drama you’d expect from a primetime soap, it also served up vivid, sexy characters that we could look at all day long. We still ship Chair and Derena even to this day! The good news is Blake Lively is alive and kicking all over the movies and Ed Westwick is killing it in Wicked City and Chace Crawford is sudsing it up in Blood and Oil. We're not the only one who sees value in the beautiful people!

2. The Office

The office
Maybe it's because the average, everyday person gets up everyday and trudges into The Office that we cannot get over having an on-air equivalent to help us get by? Whatever it is, we will probably miss the antics of the gang from Scranton, PA, always and forever. Would it hurt to check in every once in a while?

3. Parks and Recreation

Parks and recreation
Yes, Pawnee friends, it scares us, too, how much we miss you! It hasn't even been that long! Thanks to NBC for recognizing the value of Parks and Rec despite the fact it wasn't a ratings monster, because can you imagine our lives without these memorable faces in them now? Almost every actor is a household name and Chris Pratt is the biggest action star since Harrison Ford. All thanks to Leslie Knope and her dreams to build a little park outside of April and Andy's apartment.

4. Revenge

Revenge
When Victoria died, so did the quintessential night time soap. Sure, they're trying to replace it, but nothing is quite as juicy as serving up revenge in the way Emily Thorne and Victoria Grayson did week after week. Their endless fight lives on in our hearts, and we're still hoping someone sees the value in that Nolan Ross spinoff.

5. One Tree Hill

One tree hill
There really is only one Tree Hill. Glued to the screen from the beginning, right through to the end, One Tree Hill reinvented itself more than any other show on TV and still managed to remain one of the best. We'd like to think everyone is just continuing on with a happily ever after. We can dream, right? Thank Goodness Sophia Bush is on Chicago PD every week and Chad Michael Murray pops up all the time. It helps!

6. The Secret Life of the American Teenager

The secret life of the american teenager
One of the worst kept secrets on television was the SEX lives of these teenagers. Heck, maybe that wasn't their secret. Never did figure that one out. But despite the terrible acting (Shailene Woodley went on to be nominated for a Golden Globe) due to the cheesy storylies, it was impossible not to fall in love with these kids. We still hope, deep down, that Amy and Ricky found their way to each other. Sorry Ben!

17 Thanksgiving Dinners We'll Never Forget

Thanksgiving is almost here and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than to reminisce about some of our favorite Thanksgiving dinners!

Some were bad, some were good; others were good because they were so bad. All of them cemented themselves in television history as staples for Thanksgiving viewing.

From the awkward to the over-the-top, here are some of our favorite memorable Thanksgiving meals!

1. You Just Got Slapped, How I Met Your Mother

You just got slapped how i met your mother
On, "Slapsgiving," the countdown was on for Barney to receive one of the five slaps he had earned after losing a bet about whether or not Robin was in a porn movie. (She was just a Canadian pop-star!) Throughout dinner, Barney panics about Marshall’s every movie, waiting for the slap. Meanwhile Robin, who has just broken up with Ted, has brought a date to Thanksgiving dinner and he’s just a little older, but Ted sees him as an old man throughout the evening. After Barney finally receives his slap, Marshall leads the gang in the lovely tune, “You Just Got Slapped.” Everybody saw it, and everybody laughed and clapped.

2. She Gives Good Parent, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

Thanksgiving dinner crazy ex girlfriend
On "My First Thanksgiving with Josh!," Rebecca is invited to the big Filipino feast, and she’s determined to give “good parent” to Josh’s parents and make them love her more than they love his current girlfriend, Valencia. Filipino food doesn’t agree with Rebecca and she lands herself in the bathroom, where she has to decide between pooping or listening to Josh have sex with Valencia. Maybe she should have just flown to New York and watched the dog show with her mother.

3. A Braverman Family Thanksgiving, Parenthood

A braverman family thanksgiving parenthood
Wouldn’t we all want to spend Thanksgiving with the Braverman clan? On "Happy Thanksgiving," Adam is stressed out, Julia just wants to make a good pie, Sarah just had a big fight with her boss/boyfriend, and Crosby is desperately trying to impress his girlfriend’s mom. After an awkward prayer at the dinner table, dinner goes off without a hitch, and the Braverman kids find themselves dancing in the kitchen, once again, making us all wish our families were this functional.

4. Jack Tells His Mom He's Gay, Will & Grace

Jack tells his mom hes gay will and grace
It’s hard to believe, but Jack STILL hasn’t told his family that he’s gay! On "Homo for the Holidays," when Jack discovers that his mother is coming for Thanksgiving, he asks his friends to help him with his straight charade. Will, Grace, and Karen all think that he needs to come clean about his sexuality. It turns out that Jack’s mother has a secret of her own to share at dinner…Jack’s father isn’t who he thinks he is!

5. Hanksgiving, New Girl

Hanksgiving new girl
Jess really likes Paul, so she invites him to spend Thanksgiving with the gang on, "Thanksgiving." She gets the last turkey in America, names it Hank, and then realizes that she has no idea how to cook a turkey. She enlists Schmidt’s help in making Thanksgiving a little more sexy, but the gang ends up smoked out of their apartment. It’s no problem though, because Jess has a key to the neighbor’s apartment. They prepare the feast there and are ready to have a great meal together…until Paul finds their neighbor dead in the bathroom. This goes down as not only the most memorable dinner on New Girl, but also as one of the best installments the series has ever had.

6. Food Fight at Carla's, Cheers

Food fight at carlas cheers
When Diane discovers that many members of the Cheers family don’t have plans for Thanksgiving, she suggests that they all spend the holiday having dinner at Carla’s new home on, "Thanksgiving Orphans." The gang agrees, and plans to have the best Thanksgiving ever, complete with an appearance by Vera, Norm’s never-seen wife. Naturally, the dinner doesn’t quite go as planned, and a food fight ensues, and just as the audience is FINALLY about to get a good look at Vera, she takes a pie to the face.

Attention, Upper East Siders:

Have we got the ultimate quiz for you!

Blair or Serena?

Gossip Girl may have gone off the air in 2012, but we just can't let it go.

As many loyal readers may know, we once ran a fansite called Gossip Girl Insider.

It eventually morphed into TV Fanatic, but we were there from the first Dan eye roll to the last time Chuck Bass reminded someone that he is Chuck Bass.

We miss the show every single day.

So we saw little choice when we stumbled upon the following quiz but to share it with our fans, many of whom came over to TV Fanatic form Gossip Girl Insider (thanks!).

It asks one simple question: Are You Blair Waldorf Or Serena van der Woodsen?

And it takes you through a number of vital inquiries in order to get at the answer. Ready? LET'S PLAY!

17 Characters Who Should Have Stayed Dead

$

There's a whole grieving process when a much-loved character is killed off in your favorite show.

You get so attached to characters that when it's time for them to go, you want them to stay on the show forever.

It's difficult enough to say goodbye to characters, but when they're brought back into the land of the living in a convoluted way, you'd much prefer if they stayed dead.

Why mess with the integrity of the show?

We've compiled a list of characters who should have stayed dead.

1. Peter - Teen Wolf

Peter hale teen wolf
Peter wasn’t a good character to begin with. He was just too evil to like, so his random return and the fact that we were being forced to like him, was just plain stupid. He should never have returned.

2. Alison - Pretty Little Liars

Alison dilaurentis pretty little liars
Pretty Little Liars was way more interesting when we all thought Alison was dead. I have no problem with Sasha Pieterse, but she was way better in flashback, being a bitch to her friends. This whole storyline with her as a teacher is so random and stupid.

3. Tony - 24

Tony almeida 24
24 was never a show that was scared to kill off regular characters, but when Season 7 came around, the presumed dead Tony Almeida showed up and it kind of ruined the whole idea of death in the show.

4. Madison - American Horror Story: Coven

Madison montgomery american horror story coven
Emma Roberts can effortlessly play a bitch and it totally sucked when she was killed off in Coven. It was annoying that just as we finished grieving her loss, she was back in the land of the living.

5. Rumple - Once Upon A Time

Rumple once upon a time
Rumple has been a villain for so long that he is no longer redeemable and I could care less about him. Pan killed him at the close of Season 3A, but he didn't stay dead. Yawn. Add in that it’s paved the way for him to become the dark one once more and you have the most pointless return.

6. Mama Pope - Scandal

Mama pope scandal
Scandal has been known to keep viewers on the edge of their seat, but the twist that Mama Pope was alive and the subsequent convoluted storylines left a lot to be desired. It all started with her. She was the reason the show started to go stale.

11 Terrific Shows Based on Young Adult Novels

$

It's been said that there is no such thing as an original idea in the entertainment industry any more. TV and film adaptations would seem to be the clearest example of that sentiment.

On the flip side, adaptations can often meet the expectation set by their written predecessors (or even surpass them)! Such is the case with critically-beloved and mega-popular series like The Vampire Diaries, The 100, and Pretty Little Liars.

Beyond those three shining examples of successful transitions from book to TV screen, there are several others. Unfortunately, not all of them managed to attain that level of success.

Check out our slideshow of some of the best (and worst) YA series turned TV shows!

1. The 100

The 100 cast pic
The 100, a post-apocalyptic drama series set in a future 97 years after Earth became uninhabitable, is an incredibly popular (and critically-beloved) show on The CW. It is based on the first book of the same name in a YA trilogy by Kass Morgan.

2. The Vampire Diaries

Elena damon and stefan pic
The Vampire Diaries is one of The CW's longest running series. It debuted at the height of the teen-vampire craze and has been chugging along for seven seasons (and counting!). The show is based on the novel series of the same name by L.J. Smith.

3. The Carrie Diaries

Annasophia robb promo pic
While we all know that the show is a prequel to the HBO mega-hit Sex and the City, following the early life of protagonist Carrie Bradshaw, The CW's The Carrie Diaries was also adapted from a young adult novel of the same name by Candace Bushnell.

4. The Secret Circle

The secret circle cast pic
The CW clearly realized it had hit a gold mine in its adaptation of The Vampire Diaries. Obviously, adapting another YA series by the same author (L.J. Smith) seemed like a foolproof plan. Unfortunately, The Secret Circle (based on the book series of the same name) didn't do nearly as well as that other supernatural teen drama. It only lasted for one season. On the bright side, it did introduce the amazing Phoebe Tonkin onto our screens!

5. Gossip Girl

Sexy gossip girl cast
Who can forget this early CW classic? This is one of the few cases where the YA book series was actually more prolific than the show. The source material, a series of the same name, featured over ten novels and a spin-off series. The book series was written by Cecily von Ziegesar and ran from 2002-2011. The show aired for six seasons, from 2007-2012, and was a huge hit in its own right.

6. The Nine Lives of Chloe King

The nine lives of chloe king
This series, about a teenager who discovers she has cat-like abilities after a near-death experience, only made it one season on ABC Family before an abrupt cancellation that left fans begging for closure. The show was based on a book series of the same name by Liz Braswell. It starred Skyler Samuels as the titular catty protagonist, who would later go on to star in Fox's Scream Queens.

19 Dramas That Should Have Been Daytime Soaps

If you just read the descriptions below and all the incredible things that happened on each series, you might think you're looking at a list of daytime soaps.

But, nope, you're checking out the very best in primetime sudsers.

Maybe they missed their calling and should have been daytime soaps, after all.

The very first primetime soap came pretty darn close.

Would you watch any of these shows if they ran in the daytime, or perhaps early evening, more than once a week?

Let us know what about your favorite, why and whether you'd like to pay it another visit.

1. Dallas

Dallas
Running from 1978-1991, Dallas followed the saga of the Ewing family. Patriarch Jock struck it rich in oil, and with his three sons, JR, Bobby and Gary, he runs a massive oil empire. Their home base is South Fork and that's where all the shenanigans take place with their large, extended family, their business associates and friends. Gary Ewing got his own show and the series spawned 2.0, both of which will have their own slide. The biggest event for the series came when JR was shot on a cliffhanger, and viewers hung onto "Who Shot JR" as a mantra until it was settled.

2. Dynasty

Dynasty
For nine glorious seasons spanning almost every year of the 1980s, from 81-89, Dynasty follows the fabulously wealthy none-to-nice Carrington and Colby clans. Gold lame, shoulder pads, ridiculous hair and more politically incorrect mumbo jumbo than you can shake a stick at, you never want to turn it off. And cat fights? Wait till you see Alexis and Krystal throw down in a lilly pond. The best news? The entire series is available on Amazon Prime. More than once Carrington kids were replaced with new actors, too. If you ever wondered what HRG from Heroes looked like young and lithe? Well, the answer is HOT. He arrives in Season 3. You're welcome.

3. Knots Landing

Knots landing
Gary Ewing moved to the suburbs, taking with him all the drama of his hometown of Dallas. Except this was even better, because it felt a little closer to our lives, as if we might be able to partake in these types of conniving adventures and torrid affairs. After all, we live in the 'burbs, too! For 14 seasons, this precursor to Desperate Housewives (it even had someone in common!) held us captive. By the time the series ended, it was more popular than Dallas and recieved more critical acclaim. It was always my personal favorite!!

4. Grey's Anatomy

Greys anatomy
Grey's is currently airing its 12th season, and it's still going strong. When it first came on TV in 2005, I guess we knew it was special, but perhaps not as special as this. It's always been more about the characters at the hospital than the patients within it and more about what the doctors can do than what they are doing. Meredith and Derek met and through them unfolded a tour de force love story that only recently came to and end. Beside them we've watch other relationships blossom, we've seen countless characters die and move on. But always it's back to the same building, the same surgery. Back for more of the doctors, nurses and residents that have become our family and friends. Yes, we could probably watch them more than once a week. But that we've been able to do it for 12 years is also a blessing!

5. Desperate Housewives

Desperate housewives
Running for eight seasons from 2004-2012, Desperate Housewives had just about everything you want in a primetime soap. The gorgeous women and their equally hunky husbands, more secrets than a cul-de-sac can handle, housewives, murder and a bunch of misadventures as the women try to make it through what they think is their dull existence. It marks Nicollette Sheridan's second time on this list, and make the other ladies household names (if they weren't already). Anyone else really wish we'd have another trip down Wisteria Lane??

6. Beverly Hills, 90210

Beverly hills 90210
From 1990-2000 everyone was all about 90210. NO. Not that lame return show that doesn't even make this list. But the real thing, the generation defined. Kelly Taylor, Dylan Mckay, Brandon and Brenda Walsh. The Peach Pit. The boyfriend and girlfriend exchange, the longing gaze of Andrea Zuckerman as she adored what she couldn't have. Absentee parents, or those who just didn't give out nearly enough advice to keep their kids safe. This was must see TV!

15 Wedding Gowns We’ll Never Forget

$

As TV fans we love a nothing more than a good wedding episode. They bring romance and drama…and if we’re very lucky, an amazing dress!

Whether it’s traditional or contemporary, elegant or quirky, lace or newspaper (yes, we said newspaper!), the wedding attire says a a lot about the bride.

Some of these ceremonies ended with a couple experiencing wedded bliss while other couples never made it down the aisle but they all have one thing in common…a wedding dress we'll always remember.

Check out our 15 Wedding Gowns We’ll Never Forget.

1. Kate Beckett - Castle

The wet wedding gown castle s7e1
Kate has been dressed in three different wedding outfits on Castle. First it was the silver beaded gown with the puffy tulle skirt that somehow even made her hips look big, The last was the pant suit that she wore when she actually married Rick, but our favorite was the dress for the wedding that wasn't. The dress, designed by Alberta Ferretti, was supposed to be Kate's mother, Johanna Beckett's dress, so it held special meaning to fans. Why "The Powers That Be" on Castle would choose to drench the $12,000 gown and not have our heroine get married in it is a mystery we may never solve.

2. Claire Randall - Outlander

Claire randall outlander
The wedding was about marriage, not romance but that doesn't mean they skimped on the gown! No one wore white for their wedding in 18th century Scotland, so Claire's dress is metallic silver. There are literally bands of metal woven into the embroidery. We'd say that show costume designer Terry Dresbach out did herself.

3. Leslie Knope - Parks and Recreation

Leslie knope parks and recreation
Leslie Knope's wedding gown wasn't ready in time for her surprise wedding to Ben. (What kind of a seamstress doesn't finish the dress months ahead of schedule, just because?!) Luckily, quick thinking sunfish Ann Perkins came to the rescue with just the right idea: she used newspaper clippings that highlighted Leslie's political career to create an awesome one-of-a-kind wedding gown for a one-of-a-kind woman!

4. Dr. Temperance Brennan - Bones

Giving of rings
When Booth and Brennan finally tied the knot, they did it right! Bones wore a gown made of re-embroidered lace from Legends by Romona Keveza. It's from the designer's Spring 2013 collection and featured an off-the-shoulder neckline, flowing circle skirt, and chapel-length train made of French net. The bride and the gown were truly gorgeous.

5. Emily Thorne - Revenge

Emily thorne revenge
Yes, the wedding may have been a part of her plot for revenge but no one can say that Emily Thorne didn't make a beautiful bride... in no small part because her wedding gown was spectacular. Although the dress looked as though it came straight from a high-end boutique, the tulle peplum gown with scalloped lace was created by the show’s costume designer, Jill Ohannesson.

6. Blair Waldorf - Gossip Girl

Blair waldorf wedding dress reloaded
Having been married before, Blair Waldorf chose not to wear traditional white but no one can say she didn’t look absolutely stunning. When Chuck and Blair finally got married, she chose an incredible blue custom Elie Saab dress and gem-encrusted headband.

17 Men in Suits Who Make Us Swoon

Is it the man who makes the suit or the suit that makes the man? Either way, these characters certainly know how to wear one.

In a world that’s turned towards more casual-wear, there’s still nothing quite like a well dressed man in a suit.

Whether it's their career that dictates the suit or simply their personal choice, it’s clear that not all suits (or the men in them) are created equal.

Check out these 17 fine looking gentlemen who grace our TV screens in impeccable suits that make us swoon.

1. Harvey Specter - Suits

Harvey specter suits
Harvey's first words of advice to protoge, Mike Ross, was to go out and buy some real, well-fitted suits. “People respond to how we're dressed, so like it or not this is what you have to do.” Harvey is rarely without his business suits. They are custom tailored three-piece suits, generally pinstripes with flapped pockets, double vents, and wider peak lapels that accentuate those amazing shoulders. Harvey Specter is always handsome but it's his choice in suits that exudes power and confidence.

2. Patrick Jane on The Mentalist

Patrick jane the mentalist
Patrick Jane was rarely seen without his three piece suit over the seven season of The Mentalist. It was his signature look with the vest, no tie and usually in shades of blue. Why? The color blue is believed to convey a warm and trustworthy feeling. Getting people to trust him certainly made it easier for Jane to play his mentalist mind games…it also really brought out his blue eyes!

3. Agent Phil Coulson - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Agent phil coulson agents of shield
It doesn't matter if he's fighting the bad guys from his office or in the jungle, Agent Coulson always wears his suit. The leader of S.H.I.E.L.D. can seem a little uptight but that's because he's a career government man. Coulson likes tradition and consistency. Showrunner Jed Whedon says “No matter what the situation, Coulson feels most at ease when in his suit.” And it shows!

4. Ricky Ricardo - I Love Lucy

Patrick jane the mentalist
In the 1950s, I Love Lucy was the biggest hit on TV and although many watched to see what Lucy wore, it was difficult to miss her handsome husband. Ricky rocked those broad-shouldered suit jackets with a V shape that was close on the hip, had straight fronts, and frequently a TV fold pocket square. The look was popular with the Big Band leaders of the time and rumor has it that many of Ricky's outfits came straight out of actor Desi Arnaz's closet.

5. Derek Morgan – Criminal Minds

Derek morgan criminal minds
Derek Morgan can be sensitive. Derek Morgan can be one badass cop. But as hot as this crime fighter looks in a tight t-shirt and a bullet proof vest, he's even more stunning in a suit. Take a look and just try and tell us we're wrong.

6. Rick Castle - Castle

Rick castle castle
Rick Castle wears a lot of button down shirts and blazers but it's on the rare occasion that we actually see Castle wearing a suit…and that's a darn shame because he is so damn handsome when he's dressed well! The show needs more special events so we can see Castle looking his absolute best more often.

13 Shows Completely Lacking in Parental Supervision

It's no secret that in teen TV dramas, the parents don't always play a large role in the storytelling.

Some shows, though, are completely lacking in parental supervision, while others have parents that are virtually absent altogether.

From Pretty Little Liars to Skins, let's take a look at some of the TV shows that had the worst parents ever.

1. The Vampire Diaries

A tvd gathering
The CW's The Vampire Diaries may have some of the worst parents on TV. Sure, Caroline's mom was wonderful, but let's face it, Caroline was allowed to do whatever she wanted. Matt's mother hooked up with his best friend and left him to live alone most of the time. Tyler's parents have major issues, and don't even get us started on Elena's birth parents. Did these kids ever go to school unless it was a decade dance? Where was the parental supervision, the school staff, Child Protective Services, and the police for that matter?

2. Pretty Little Liars

Liars listen intently as ali tells all
The lack of parenting in Pretty Little Liars is astounding. The parents actually do play a central role in the show, but the girls are constantly running off into the woods at night, leaving the house to meet up at the drop of a dime, and landing themselves in life or death situations. This wouldn't be possible if the parents layed down the law. And let's not forget that some moms think it's cool to run off to Austria with their new boyfriend to live their dreams when their son shows psychotic tendencies. Looking at you, Ella.

3. Teen Mom

Teen mom og banner
I'm just going to let this one speak for itself.

4. Teen Wolf

Teen wolf gang
The parents in this show freaking rock. It's one of the few teen dramas that actually have parents that are integral to the story and you root for. That being said, they still let their supernatural creature teenagers do whatever they want. How do all of their parents just let them go running off in the middle of the night like that? I will excuse all of the parents in this show because I like them just as much as the teenagers the series is about.

5. 90210

Young stars
The family drama on this show is insane. From partying to doing drugs, what didn't these high schoolers get away with? They probably could have even gotten away with murder. Oh, wait ...

6. Gossip Girl

The clique
When Serena, Blair and the rest of the gang weren't drinking underage in public, they were either living alone while their mom was out of the country, running hotels on their own or trying to scheme against their own loved ones. Basically, they behaved like 30-year-olds with the mentality of high schoolers.

We've heard all about TV's Bad Boys.

We all know exactly who they are and how sexy it is to fall in love with a bad boy.

But let's talk about the amazing ladies that tame the wild men. The ladies who charm them, show them kindness, and teach them how to be great guys.

Here are just a few of those amazing ladies and how they made a bad boy go good!

Don't see your favorite? Add them in the comments section!

1. Emma Swan, Once Upon a Time

Emma swan once upon a time
Captain Hook was a pirate, living by his own code, never caring for anyone around him. That is, until he became captivated by the savior, Emma Swan. Her initial dismissal of him forced him to take a look at himself and find something in him that Emma would be attracted to. It turns out, Emma didn’t really change anything about Killian Jones, but her feelings for him unlocked the loving and heroic side of this one-time villain who eventually stole her heart.

2. Rory Gilmore, Gilmore Girls

Rory gilmore gilmore girls
Logan Huntzberger benefitted greatly from his romance with the youngest Gilmore. She was the first girl to make him settle down, she stood by his side when he nearly died skydiving, and they successfully navigated a long-distance relationship. In fact, when we last saw Logan he was breaking up with Rory because SHE wasn’t ready for marriage. This is one guy truly went good for a Gilmore.

3. Blair Waldorf, Gossip Girl

Blair waldorf gossip girl
Who better to tame a bad boy than a bad girl? While Chuck played games with Blair, she could easily one-up him, something that he only became more attracted to. While their road to walking down the aisle was full of devious twists and turns, they finally settled down together, and at the very least, dropped their bad behavior when together. But the rest of the world? We’re sure they’re messing with anyone who gets in their way, together.

4. Joey Potter, Dawson's Creek

Joey potter dawsons creek
Joey and Dawson made sense. Best friends, movie buffs, and they both shared the same enormous vocabulary that no teenager ACTUALLY has. When she caught the eye of Pacey Witter, classic screw up, there was no denying their chemical and emotional attraction. Pacey went from being the guy who slept with his English teacher to being an unrealistic expectation for girls everywhere as his romance with Joey truly made him a changed man.

5. Taylor Townsend, The O.C.

Taylor townsend the oc
After his tumultuous romance with bad girl Marissa Cooper ended, Ryan Atwood was in a dark place, ready to fall off the map, which wasn’t great news for those who loved the Chino bad-boy. But Taylor stuck by Ryan, being his friend and the strong presence in his life when he needed it most. She had her own things to deal with, like an awful ex-husband who was literally ruining her life, but she and Ryan stuck together, and the friends would soon become much more than that, their mature romance bringing out the best in them both. This insecure girl fixed a very broken man, and herself in the process.

6. Zoe Hart, Hart of Dixie

Zoe hart hart of dixie
This doctor was the cure for broken Bluebellian, Wade Kinsella! She moved to Alabama to become a better doctor but in the process, she made the town playboy a better man. Wade fell hard for Zoe, and dropped his immature player ways to win her heart, eventually becoming a successful businessman and suitor for the New York City transplant.

It's wedding season!

Everyone loves a great wedding; the romance, the heartfelt words, the chance to celebrate love.

But what about the awesome parties that go with the wedding?!

This is a list that celebrates the best receptions, the ones that we wish we'd crashed, just so that we could celebrate along with some of our favorite TV families!

From the sentimental to the strange, here are some of the television wedding receptions we wish we'd crashed!

Don't see your favorite? Add it in the comments!

1. Mary and Francis, Reign

Mary and francis reign
Forget William and Kate! This is the REAL royal wedding we wish we had a seat to attend. The food! The dancing! The falling flowers! This reception was royal romance at its finest.

2. Mitch and Cam, Modern Family

Pepper plans a wedding
Any guest of a wedding that had to stop and start three times before it was moved to a picturesque country club would have been out of their mind with frustration. But one look at those happy grooms and listening to Claire speak about love would have been the best reason to be in attendance. We would have certainly been sporting big smiles!

3. April and Andy, Parks and Recreation

April and andy parks and recreation
We’d have made a real cake and shown up for April and Andy’s surprise house party wedding. They served pizza rolls and whatever else their guests brought and. Mouserat performed. And oh how we wish we’d had the chance to talk to Andy’s grandma. Our invitation clearly got lost.

4. Howard and Bernadette, The Big Bang Theory

Howard and bernadette the big bang theory
Rooftop party with the coolest nerds on the block? We’re in. We’d have become ordained and been extra ministers at their wedding. In fact, that probably could have been our in. Plus, Howard and Bernadette are just fantastic.

5. Dwight and Angela, The Office

Dwight and angela the office
Any wedding that takes place on graves is bound to be a lot of fun. Dwight and Angela sealed the deal and danced the night away at Schrute Farms with all their friends from Dunder Mifflin, old and new. We really just wish we could have snuck up behind Michael and heard him say, “That’s what she said,” at least once or twice.

6. Bones and Booth, Bones

Bones and booth bones
Is there anyone who didn’t wish they had a ticket to one of the most painfully awaited weddings, one that felt like it took nine years to plan? Oh wait… it did. Between Cyndi Lauper singing love songs, vows that would make anyone weep, and all the champagne going around, is there any reason we wouldn’t have crashed?

TV shows are known for having a lot of drama.

There's times when the drama gets a little too much for some characters and they lash out.

It's their way of venting their frustration.

We've compiled some of the best slaps on television.

1. Momma Vanderwaal Slaps Alison - Pretty Little Liars

Miss vanderwaal slaps alison pretty little liars
Remember when everyone thought Mona was dead and that Ali killed her? It was only a matter of time before someone slapped Alison, but I kind of felt sorry for her.

2. Victoria Lays Down The Law - Revenge

Victoria lays down the law revenge
Revenge was known for showing the glitz and glamour of The Hamptons, but it was also great at showing just how much Victoria Grayson loved to make everyone listen to her every word.

3. Tyrion Slaps Joffrey - Game of Thrones

Tyrion slaps joffrey game of thrones
Joffrey was always a wicked person, so viewers worldwide LOVED when his uncle Tyrion gave him a good old Westeros slap.

4. Sutton Slaps Emma - The Lying Game

Sutton slaps emma the lying game
Remember The Lying Game? It was better then Pretty Little Liars, but got cut short in Season 2. Sutton was not impressed with Emma stepping into her life for too long.

5. Santana Slaps Finn - Glee

Santana slaps finn glee
Santana and Finn made a cute couple, but Santana was not someone to be messed with.

6. Elena Slaps Stefan - The Vampire Diaries

Elena slaps stefan the vampire diaries
Elena loves slapping the Salvatore brothers. Stefan may not have been in the right frame of mind, but Elena seemed to think the back of her hand would knock some sense into him.

13 Best Vacations Ever Taken on TV

$

The sun is shining. The weather is warm and we're ready for a little adventure.

But where to?

Even our fictional favorites need a break from the norm every now and then.

Need a holiday? Our TV friends have plenty of ideas.

There's surfing on Hawaii or playing princess at Disney. We've got Wyoming hunting trips, girlfriends in Paris and days spent lounging on the beach in the Hamptons.

But beware of the pitfalls of going topless, shrinkage, and bad hair days!

So get ready for an epic get-a-away and check out our 13 favorite vacation episodes on TV.

1. Friends - London, Baby!

Friends london baby
The Friends flew off to London for Ross and Emily’s wedding in one of TV’s most epic trips. Ross said Rachel’s name at the altar instead of Emily's (Oops!), Monica and Chandler began a romantic relationship, and Joey was the best tourist ever! We’re so happy he insisted on that hat. London, baby!

2. The Good Wife - Wyoming

A romantic vacation the good wife s6e16
It was really more of a working vacation when Kurt brought Diane along on a hunting retreat in Wyoming with his staunch Republican friends. She hoped to endure small talk with the wives at the spa and figure out how to nab a big money client for the firm. Unfortunately she mistook somebody's call girl for their wife!

But what made this vacation great for viewers was the pro-life/pro-choice debate between R. D. and Diane. Rarely do we get to see such emotionally charged subjects handled with such intelligence...and on vacation, too.

3. The Brady Bunch - Hawaii

The brady bunch hawaii
The Brady Bunch got around. There were the Grand Canyon episodes, as well as a trip to an amusement park, but our favorite Brady vacation was their trip to Hawaii. Over three episodes, Greg nearly drowned in a surfing accident, a tarantula almost scared Peter to death, Don Ho played the ukulele, and the desire to place a cursed tiki in its ancestral cave lead the boys to becoming captives of Vincent Price! What more could we ask for from a vacation?

4. Royal Pains - Cuba

Royal pains cuba
You could say that every day on Royal Pains was a vacation, as most of the series took place summering in the Hamptons, but that didn't stop members of HankMed from heading out to other exotic locales. When Boris' health took a turn, Hank and Evan ended up on their way to Cuba. Yes, we believe the episode was actually filmed in Puerto Rico as the ban on travelling to Cuba was still in effect, but we still thought this was one of Royal Pains more intriguing trips.

5. Full House - Disney World

Full house disney world
Even the title, "The House Meets the Mouse," was adorable. The trip was inevitable. Where else would you take the cutest kids on TV for vacation? Danny proposed to Vicky, Jesse and Joey ended up at the bottom of a shark tank, and Michelle was named Princess for the Day!

6. Modern Family - Hawaiian Wedding

Modern family hawaiian wedding
After a bunch of airport mishaps, the entire Pritchett/Dunphy clan finally made their way to Hawaii. Though the comedic missteps hardly stopped there, it was Phil giving Claire the wedding of her dreams in a vow renewal ceremony that made this vacation episode most memorable.

13 Horrible Characters We Eventually Grew to Love

Sometimes our favorite TV characters are the ones we absolutely hated when we first saw them on our screens.

Maybe they were incredibly annoying or rude, or maybe they were flat-out evil. But as their shows went on and we got to know them, or when they ended up getting shiny new souls, we found that we couldn't help but love them.

From vampires to tough bosses, here are 13 horrible characters we eventually grew to love!

1. Spike, Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Spike buffy the vampire slayer
Spike showed up in Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 2 as a pretty nasty villain who was dead set on killing Buffy, but along the way, we saw that even he could show compassion. Plus, he had some amazing one-liners and that killer blonde hair.

2. Alex Karev, Grey's Anatomy

Alex karev greys anatomy
Remember when Alex was a total jerk? This guy did not make a good first impression, but we got the chance to watch him grow up, fall in love, and learn from his mistakes. In fact, of every character on Grey's Anatomy, he's probably the one who has changed the most.

3. Mellie Grant, Scandal

Unhappy mellie
Oh, Mellie Grant. Even though she was really the one being wronged, she was our villain when it came to Liv and Fitz's scandalous relationship – and she didn't exactly make herself likeable. But she grew on us as we got to know her better, and now she's maybe one of the more likable characters on the show.

4. Jaime Lannister, Game of Thrones

Jaime lannister game of thrones
Game of Thrones' Jaime Lannister has done some despicable things (like, dispicable), but he's another character we grew to love as we saw his softer side.

5. Louis Litt, Suits

Louis litt suits s5e7
When we first met Louis Litt, he was clearly just an awful guy. But now that we've made it to Suits Season 6, we've had the chance to see him prove how loyal and thoughtful he can be.

6. Paris Geller, Gilmore Girls

Paris geller gilmore girls
She started out as Rory's clear adversary, a brash, mean girl who always had to be on top. Paris Geller kept many of those characteristics, but we eventually saw her softer side, especially as she and Rory became close friends and college roommates.

23 TV Divas We Secretly Admire

There's nothing like a diva to add life your favorite TV show.

No matter how evil they might be, there's always a purpose behind what they do. Some just want to be the center of attention, some just love the drama, and some just want what they want when they want it. Who doesn't want that?

Love them, hate them, or love to hate them, here are 23 divas we secretly admire.

1. Endora - Bewitched

Endora bewitched
No one could make an entrance like Samantha’s flamboyant mom. Her colorful clothes and outrageous makeup were the best, but she was not a nice person, at least when it came to Darrin. She was his worst nightmare, and sometimes Samantha’s too. Still, her makeup and outfits were divine. If only we looked so good with bright, blue eyeshadow!

2. Cookie Lyon - Empire

Cookie lyon empire
This tough-talking matriarch of the Lyon family knows what she wants, and will do whatever it takes to get it, even if it means manipulating her own kids. If you get in her way, watch out! No one can top her sassy mouth and spirit. And her style? Let’s just say it’s diva-tastic!

3. Cat Grant - Supergirl

Cat grant supergirl
Cat’s all that and more! She’s self-centered, arrogant, domineering, and mean. She’s got all the snark one could ever desire, and she’s got the looks to prove it!. Nothing and no one will stand in her way to get what she wants and deserves. It’s all about Cat, and that’s the way it should be!

4. Alexis Carrington - Dynasty

Alexis carrington dynasty
Her clothes were impeccable (she rocked those shoulder pads), her tastes divine, and she brought a whole new meaning to the words vindictive and manipulative. Dahling, no one can come close to this grande dame of divas.

5. Gabrielle Solis - Desperate Housewives

Gabrielle solis desperate housewives
A former top model turned trophy wife, Gabrielle showed us that living in the suburbs doesn't have to keep the fabulous down. She reeked with attitude and wasn’t afraid to let it all out when necessary. When she wanted something, she got it, including her fabulously hunky gardener.

6. Angela Channing - Falcon Crest

Angela channing falcon crest
It’s best not to mess with this matriarch and head of the Falcon Crest wineries. She was a ruthless businesswoman who made things happen and wouldn't let anyone or anything stand in the way of success.
